Jani Virk

Jani Virk is a writer and translator, employed at RTV SLO as an editor of drama programs. He graduated in German language and comparative literature from the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, where he also obtained his doctorate. So far, he has published eighteen original works: ten novels, five collections of short stories, a poetry collection, a book of essays, and a scientific study. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Prešeren Fund Award and the Župančič Award.
