What does a person do, when in their middle years, they realize, that their time is inevitably running out? That life has lost its momentum and perhaps its meaning? That the world is hurtling towards an uncertain, threatening future?

All of this pervades Blaž Rowenski, a translator who settled in Germany for love, started a family there, and now lives in Berlin with his wife Sabine. Their children have recently left the nest, his wife spends most of the day at work, and Blaž prefers to linger in the apartment, lost in search of the right words. When an unusual turn of events forces him to return to Ljubljana more often, the city of his youth, cracks begin to show in his small, predictable world, and through them, a fresh breeze of life blows. Will he surrender to it and find new meaning, new love, a new home?
